was formed in September 1982 in Växjö, and is a nonprofit society with the mission of promoting family history research in the county of Kronoberg.
Interest in genealogy has grown over the years and the number of members in the society, currently amounts to approx 1900.
The society is connected to The Federation of Swedish Genealogical Societies.
You can also become a member of our society. As a member you will receive our magazine four times a year. Note that the magazine is written in Swedish

We have a database of birth marriage and death books from the parishes in the county of Kronoberg. There are almost 100 parishes in the county. We now have 1.500.000 records in the database.
